Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Kalaroo (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Kalaroo, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
Who can use Kalaroo
You must be at least 13 years old to use Kalaroo. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Choose a handle and display name that aren’t misleading or offensive, and don’t impersonate others. We may reclaim handles that are inactive, infringing, or chosen in bad faith.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Kalaroo to:
- harass, threaten, or harm others;
- send spam or unsolicited invitations;
- access data you’re not permitted to, or attempt to break the service’s security;
- scrape, copy, or resell the service or its data;
- break any applicable law.
Your content
You keep ownership of the content you add (availability, notes, group names, and so on). You grant us the limited permission needed to store and display it to the people you choose, in order to run the service.
Calendar integration
Connecting a calendar — Google, Outlook, or Apple — is optional and governed by our Privacy Policy. Kalaroo requests read-only access and imports only your busy times; you can disconnect at any time. For Apple, you connect using an app-specific password you generate, which you can revoke from your Apple ID account page.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that create risk for other users or the service.
Service “as is”
Kalaroo is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scheduling information will always be accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kalaroo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which we operate, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
